What's your role and professional background?

As the Managing Director of Support Collective and concurrently serving as a Support Coordinator, my journey in the Disability & Community Services Industry began in 2006. Over the years, I've embraced various roles, spanning from Direct Support to Early Childhood Early Intervention Supports, Disability Employment Support, and Case Management. In 2014, amid the NDIS implementation in Newcastle, I made the shift into the role of Support Coordination.

Outside of work, what are your interests?

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, especially cheering on my kids as they participate in their sports activities. At home, I find joy in the company of our three dogs, and whenever possible, we enjoy going away in our caravan, exploring new places and making memories together.

What do you think sets Support Collective apart in providing quality supports to our participants?

What sets Support Collective apart in delivering exceptional support to our participants is our independence. Free from external influences, we're wholly dedicated to meeting the unique needs and desires of our participants. Their well-being and satisfaction are our primary drivers, guiding every aspect of our service provision.

What's a fun fact about you that people might not know?

A fun fact about me that people might not know is that I spent my formative years in the Northern Territory, specifically in the small community of Nhulunbuy (Gove) which boasts a population of approximately 3,300 people.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

What I find most rewarding about my work is witnessing our dedicated staff empowering participants to reach their goals and conquer the obstacles they encounter. Seeing Support Collective grow into what it is today fills me with immense pride, knowing that our collective efforts have made a meaningful impact.
