Coordination of Supports - Level 2
Focuses on providing assistance to participants with more complex service delivery environments with an aim to strengthen a participant’s ability to connect with and coordinate supports, and to maximise skills around independent participation within NDIS processes.
This support will assist you to build the skills you need to understand, implement and use your plan. A support coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in your community.
Coordination of Supports also includes coaching participants, and working with participants to develop capacity and resilience in their network.
Specialist Support Coordination - Level 3
Specialist support coordination is a higher level of support. The focus is on reducing complexity in the participant’s support environment and helping the participant overcome immediate and/or significant barriers in plan implementation.
Our team of highly experienced Specialist Support Coordinators qualified to manage challenging, complex or high needs support situations.
Specialist support coordination helps participants: address complex barriers that affect their access to supports & design a service plan for their support needs, where appropriate.

- Determining your individual needs and help you develop your goals
- Navigating the NDIS marketplace (including mainstream, community, informal and provider options) to find supports that are best suited to meeting your needs and goals.
- Communicating with your support providers and assist in establishing supports and service agreements.
- Building your capacity to exercise choice and control, for example by mentoring and coaching e.g. how to use the NDIS portal, monitor budget and find providers.
- Monitoring and recording your progress towards achieving your goals.
- Preparing for your NDIS Plan Review and provide support during and after.
