What's your role and professional background?
I am the Administration Assistant at Support Collective and also manage a small caseload as a Coordinator of Supports. My professional background is in children's services and education. I completed a Certificate III in Children's Services and studied most of a Bachelor of Primary Teaching degree.
I spent a few years working in early childhood education before joining a not-for-profit Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) service, where I worked for 10 years. During that time, I spent five years in a leadership and business management role as the Director/Nominated Supervisor. My experience has given me a strong understanding of supporting children and families, which remains a passion of mine today
Outside of work, what are your interests?
Outside of work, I stay busy as a mum of three. As a family, we love spending quality time together and going on adventures, particularly exploring new places in our caravan.
What do you think sets Support Collective apart in providing quality supports to our participants?
Support Collective is a unique and independent provider, that only provides Support Coordination meaning that our sole focus is on this service and how it fits within the NDIS. Our management and team of coordinators are extremely experienced, knowledgeable and supportive meaning that we can provide a service that truly supports each participants individual circumstances, needs and goals.
What's a fun fact about you that people might not know?
I am a huge Bluey fan!
What do you find most rewarding about your work?
Connecting with people and then being able to help them navigate the NDIS system to best support their needs and achieve positive outcomes.
